The Good News About COVID How We Have Changed
How has coronavirus extended beyond the pandemic, and what does it have to do with your overall health?
While COVID-19 will have lasting effects on our world, there is good news behind the disease: Your past, present, and future health changes everything.
I think that COVID really did start to open our eyes. COVID opened our eyes to the fact that we need to take more responsibility and control over our own health. As time has gone by, more and more people have done research on who gets COVID-19, who gets extremely sick from it, and who does not. What we are finding out is that people that have taken care of themselves have less of an issue with COVID-19.
If your blood glucose is lower, you will have less of an issue with COVID-19. If your vitamin D3 is higher, you will have less of an issue with COVID-19. When you are regularly taking zinc, you will have less of an issue with COVID-19. If you have Type 2 diabetes, you will have more problems with COVID-19. The list goes on and on, and there are things that we can do to mitigate that.
I believe that there is a shift happening. Yes, people got depressed as a result of the pandemic. Adults gained an average of 30 pounds in 2020. Society as a whole got depressed, and you might have as well. It was scary. You were locked down. You were isolated from others, and weight gain and depression could have been how you reacted. However, the time is now to bounce back and realize that there are things that you have control over.
One of the things that really excites me about biohacking, the shortest, simplest thing you can do, is that the shortest distance between two points gets you the result you want. That is the essence of it.
How do you get the health that you want without committing your entire life to improve it?
Getting that little thing, that little shift, is the simplest action that you can do to have a massive impact on your health and wellness. You are not just dealing with coronavirus, if you can get the virus, or if you are going to survive it. Yes, that matters. However, the simplest things that you can do can greatly affect your health in so many other areas. The message is simple: You are in control.
It is time for us to work together. Society needs you to be healthier.
Your family needs you to be healthier. You need to be the best version of yourself. There is an opportunity to rebuild what was taken from you. You have the opportunity to bounce back and be better than you ever were before. It starts with you. It starts with how you are going to take care of yourself individually while also doing those micro changes that give you the cutting edge on your own health, your own outlook, and your own emotions.
We can do it together.
