Rebuild Your Muscles and Bones
So what’s interesting is I’ve noticed throughout the years, especially as a trainer, that many people came to me that was out of shape compared to when I was a kid, and we all ran around everywhere.
You rode your bicycle store. You rode your skateboard around. You walked places.
Now we have this thing, which is a beautiful information highway, we have the Internet, which you can research and find all these beautiful ideas. But what happens is our brain gets so locked into it that we’re sitting for hours and hours.
So what we now see and have seen over the years is this detriment to physical health because people are sitting their posture’s rolling forward like this instead of staying up tall. They’re not using their abdomen, back, hips or upper body muscles to stay healthy.
Because they’re sitting much longer, their bodies start to ache. They begin to have pain. There’s less stress on their body, so their body doesn’t have to adapt, which affects their immune system.
It affects your bone density. It affects your muscularity. It affects your mobility. It affects your ability to travel and feel safe and healthy.
Also, we have kids growing up that are mimicking these younger parents. One of the most beautiful things about here at OsteoStrong is that we can take that information and begin to rebuild their muscles, rebuild their bones, rebuild their posture and structure, and talk about nutrition.
We talk about how they will affect their lives for a whole total session. Not just themselves but the people around them will be watching them. So there’s another generation that will start this earlier on.
So it affects the people around them, and it’s just incredible. You realize that you’re the hub of this wheel.
