How To Save An Abused Child
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and everyone wants to get involved.
Everyone wants to save a child. But not everybody knows how or what to do.
And when you come together with Kyra’s Champions and with OsteoStrong, we’re putting together a pathway forward to protect children, doing this in two ways.
First of all, we’re passing laws. We’re doing that with Kyra’s Law, with the other bills inspired by her custody case. We want to pass these in all 50 states. We need to make child safety the top priority in custody cases, and we’re going to do just that.
At Kyra’s Champions, we also do an incredible student advocacy program. We’re teaching junior high school students, high school students, and college students to become advocates, use their voice, and make it matter. And they are leading the charge.
Kyra’s Champions is an organization that’s for kids and by kids, and they will be leading the charge in bringing about change for tomorrow.
I want to come together with Kyra’s Champions in April to make a difference. Together, we can be a champion for children, and together we can be Kyra’s Champions.
We can make sure this doesn’t happen to someone you know or love, and we can protect those suffering right now.
