Four years ago, Irene retired from an accounting position in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Rapid City.

When Irene returned from that trip, she could hardly walk and went to have an MRI along with seeing a back surgeon.
“The back surgeon tells me that to fix my back. I would need a two-day operation for 4-5 hours each day. I knew at my age I may not survive it.”
Cortisone shots didn’t help Irenes’ bone health, so she started physical therapy, but due to the pain, she used a walker.

Due to the pain, Irene could not attend her OsteoStrong session but could maintain her memberships until she was ready to start.
