Leann refers to herself as a “numbers nerd,” but here at OsteoStrong, it’s not about the numbers for Leann. It is about how she feels.
Currently living in a two-story house, Leann wants to continue gardening and going for walks.
In 2017, the Post Dispatch, a local paper, did an article on OsteoStrong, which intrigued Leann.
“I thought, wow, what a cool concept, and I love the idea that you go once a week for maybe half an hour.”
However, the only location was in O’Fallon, which seemed too far for Leann to drive, so when the Saint Peters location opened, she knew it was time to try OsteoStrong.
Leann has now been at OsteoStrong since March, and she loves it.
“I come weekly and have an appointment at 11:15 am every Wednesday.”
She enjoys each session because of scheduling things around each session, like coffee with friends before or having lunch with friends afterward.
The people here[OsteoStrong] are great. They [OsteoStrong Team] are very encouraging and want you to do everything right and succeed.
Walking up and down steps has been a big deal. I was getting up from a chair without pulling myself up on something.
I used to grab onto the pew in front of me at church to stand up; now, I don’t.
Leann has better balance and core, thanks to OsteoStrong.
Five to 10 years from now, I still want to be up and around walking without medications. I want to do things on my own and stay strong.
Getting older doesn’t mean getting weaker. Stay strong with OsteoStrong.
